- 'Om' Mindfulness & Meditation Sessions
This course provides a welcoming, step-by-step introduction to meditation. Meditation helps to support mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner calm. The practices in this programme include mindfulness to cultivate present-moment awareness, loving-kindness to nurture self compassion, and mantra meditation for focus and grounding. Additionally, techniques like visualisation for mental clarity and body scan meditation to connect with physical sensations deepen relaxation and self-awareness. This plan also offers a variety of yogic breathing (pranayama) techniques to support different aspects of well-being. Some breathing practices focus on balancing energy and promoting mental clarity, while others are designed to calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Certain techniques energise and refresh the mind, helping to clear away mental fog and boost focus. Each method is thoughtfully chosen to align with your personal needs, enhancing both your physical and mental vitality. Week 1: Introduction to Meditation: Debunk myths, clarify goals, discuss benefits. Posture & Breath Basics: Learn comfortable sitting techniques and simple breathing exercises. Mantra Introduction: Explore how a mantra or focus word can gently anchor your attention. Yoga sequences created in the context of the sport you do. This 6 week course addresses imbalances, dysfunctions or compensations which may have arisen in your mind-body. It involves the instruction of functional movement - targetting strength and flexibility and teaching meditation and breathing techniques.

Sometimes we don't like doing things by ourselves. This class is for up to five people. Keeping it small still allows for personal instruction as we all move differently and there is much camaraderie that can be built in these sessions, spending time with people you really want to.

Here, I can run through the services I offer and what might be beneficial to you in the context of your existing lifestyle and commitments, likes and dislikes. An Ayurvedic Mind-Body Assessment You may decide to have a one off session maybe simply to understand your mind-body composition (dosha) or you may wish to create an Ayurvedic lifestyle for yourself, incorporating new practices into your daily routine when it suits you and according to which areas need attention. One or more Ayurvedic Lifestyle Sessions Maybe you are ready to overhaul your health and wellbeing fully in a five-week personalised programme or just want to tackle one specific area of it. An Ayurvedic lifestyle approach to health and well-being addresses six key pillars of health: sleep, meditation, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, nutrition and self care. Private Coaching Private coaching sessions allow you to find your purpose, set intentions, find meanings and explore the side of you which may prevent you from flourishing. It can take you from a place of restriction to expansion, allowing you to live your life to its fullest. Yoga Classes Perhaps you want to take a yoga class with me on a regular basis or would like me to devise a yoga-inspired functional movement programme to help you with your chosen sport. Maybe you wish to have yoga in your school or your teenager learn some well needed life coping skills and strategies.

Woven into classes is yoga philosophy, anatomical instruction, structural and functional alignment meditation and breathwork. A personalised approach, in a safe non-judgemental environment serves to enhance the student:teacher connection. As our relationship evolves and I am able to adapt sessions according to your needs or current stresses or concerns. This is all about me supporting you and your vision of health, taking into account current mobility or flexibility issues and working towards where you want to be. This consultation gives us time to see if we are a good fit for each other and to establish what exactly it is you are looking for from coaching. In our discussions, I run through the services I offer. You may wish to be coached towards discovering your soul purpose and find meaning in your life releasing self limiting beliefs. You may have specific health and wellness goals such as feeling more in control and less stressed. You may be feeling unhappy with life at the moment and wish to improve your emotional well-being but are not sure how to go about making yourself feel happier. Perhaps you would like to put in place some nourishing self care practices you can incorporate into your existing busy life. Maybe your sleep schedule or nutrition is off key and weight gain or lethargy is an issue and you need to get back on track. How about establishing a yoga practice or learning to find inner peace with some meditation. Whatever it is, we can co-create a plan of your needs and look at what will be beneficial to you in the context of your existing lifestyle and commitments, likes and dislikes, intentions and goals and timescale and resources which are available to you. You will take a couple of assessments. One to determine your innate mind-body composition and another to understand your current state of health which will flag up any imbalances you are currently experiencing. In follow up sessions we go deeper through the results, looking specifically at using coaching tools, Ayurvedic lifestyle practices and yoga practices relevant to you to help you move towards optimal health and happiness. Please note: If you decide to use my services the consultation it will be included in the 10-11 week coaching service. Please note: If you choose not to have me as your coach (or I decide you may be best served by a different type of coach, depending upon your needs), I will refund you 50% so you will only be paying for the Ayurvedic mind-body composition component of the consultation.
